Ohio Fashion Design Schools

If you want to become a fashion designer, there are nine schools in Ohio that can get you started. Most of these schools offer Bachelor’s degrees in fashion design, and seven of the schools have Master’s degrees in fashion design. Tuition varies widely between schools, but the average cost of tuition in Ohio is $17,472. Many students can get scholarships; the average scholarship award in Ohio is $8,222. With an average acceptance rate of 78%, you have a good chance of getting into your selected program.

If you decide to earn your Bachelor’s degree in fashion design, you have to complete between 120 and 130 credits in order to graduate. Some of the classes you may have to take include Pattern Making, Evaluating Fashion & Apparel, Fashion Analysis, and Global Fashion Economics. Your time should be split between the classroom and the design studio. You may be able to graduate with your Bachelor’s degree in fashion design in just four years. If you decide to continue your education, you can go on to earn a Master’s degree in fashion design.
