Michigan Fashion Merchandising Schools

Fashion designers and buyers across the country need fashion merchandisers to help meet their needs. If you like the idea of predicting trends and working with people in all parts of the fashion industry, consider attending a fashion merchandising program in Michigan.

There are eight programs in Michigan, and all of them are located in the Lower Peninsula. There are two schools that offer Associate’s degree and six with Bachelor’s-level programs. If you want to pursue a Master’s degree, there are four schools to choose from.

The average cost of tuition in Michigan is $13,075. However, there are also many grant and scholarship opportunities. The average scholarship award in Michigan is $6114.

Completing this degree requires coursework in business, management, and fashion. Consumer Behavior, Fashion Management, and Global Fashion Insight are all classes that you may be expected to take.

Securing an internship is a good way to use your education and solidify your CV. Most schools require internships to be done in your last year of school. If an internship is not an option, look for field experience or study tour opportunities.
